Custom Orthotics

What are custom orthotics?

Custom-made orthotics are a medical device (similar looking to an insole) that can be discreetly inserted into shoes to support, align, prevent and/or accommodate foot/gait imbalances and abnormalities.

They are often covered by extended health insurance plans, but most plans will require a prescription from a general practitioner. Individual plans will vary, so we recommend you check your coverage.

Are you a candidate for custom-made orthotics?

You may be a candidate if you have any sort of biomechanical imbalances, which can present as:

heel pain
arch pain
bunions
shin splints
constantly tired feet
flat feet
calluses
back pain
knee pain
hip pain
chronic ankle sprains

Most shoes on the market are made with style in mind, not your foot or postural health! Every pair of feet are unique and different – the reality is that (inadequate but stylish) footwear could be contributing to symptoms or issues down the road.
